Menswear Capsule Collection
This is a made-up collection for Cerruti 1881 and a part of a school rebranding project for the same brand, which were done during the first semester of the Creative Direction program at Polimoda.

Notes on the collection
The general idea of this collection is to explore and challenge the relationship between a relaxed tailoring product and the wearer. Since its early years, the core value of Cerruti has been to create comfortable tailoring for its clients, yet the message got lost in translation through time because people’s perception of relaxed tailoring changed, especially during the pandemic and post-pandemic period.
While we are bringing back the brand’s early years design style to create “relaxed-tailoring,” we are also exploring some print inspirations from the mirror sculpture artwork by Michelangelo Pistoletto-an Italian artist who was a part of the Arte Povera movement and has the same Piemontese roots as Cerruti.
