This print is inspired by the depiction of a Provençal night sky in the Starry Night and the Starry Night Over the Rhône painting by Van Gogh. The way he painted it creates some illusions of the movements of the stars. Other inspirations for this print are the astrophotographs of some nebulas and the star trails.

The print is made by combining a watercolor background artwork and a digital illustration. The final pixel-based design then is repeated digitally.
